Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Tearoff app and related services (the “Service”), provided by Nexona (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Tearoff. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Sign-in is provided via email & password, Google, or Apple.

2. The Service

Tearoff is a personal daily/weekly planner. A free tier is available. Some features require a paid subscription, as described in the App and on our website.

3. Subscriptions, billing & trials

4. Your content

You own the content you create in Tearoff. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, sync and display it back to you as part of the Service. You are responsible for the content you enter, including any contact details you add.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to break, overload or reverse-engineer it, using it unlawfully, or infringing others’ rights.

6. Family plan

The Family plan lets the plan owner share premium access with up to five members. The owner is responsible for managing members and for the subscription. Each member’s planner content remains their own.

7. Intellectual property

The Tearoff app, name, design and content (other than your own entries) belong to us and are protected by law. These Terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where necessary to protect the Service or comply with the law.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own backups of important information.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including your statutory consumer rights).

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia and the European Union, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence still apply.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
